Day 1: Marrakech – High Atlas – Ouarzazate – Draa Valley – Zagora

Day 1:Casablanca – Transfer to the hotel.

Day 2 : Casablanca – Rabat.

Day 6: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fes.

After breakfast in your riad, we will take you to the oldest of the imperial cities. Leave Chefchaouen behind, skirting the windy roads of the Riff Mountains. Around noon, arrive at the Roman ruins of Volubilis and visit with a local guide. Have lunch at Moulay Idriss overlooking the ruins. Alternatively, stay a little longer in Chefchaouen and then leave directly to Fes after lunch. Arrival in Fez later in the afternoon.Overnight in a Local Riad at Fes.

 

Day 7: Full Day to Visit Fes.

Today, you will spend the morning exploring the ramparts of Fes, seeing the Tomb of the Merinids, and visiting the 14th-century Bou Inania Medersa and the excellent museum with its collection of illuminated manuscripts and ceramics. You will have lunch in the Medina then explore the fascinating cobbled lanes of the Medina, richly decorated Attarin Medersa, and the Neijarin Fountain. Day 8: Fes – Azrou – Midlet – Ziz Valley –Arfoud – Merzouga – Camel Trekking.

During this trip, you will get a glimpse of the Middle Atlas and High Atlas mountains. With a stop at Azrou, a Berber village in the middle of the famous cedar forest, the largest in Morocco, where it is possible to see Barbary apes. After some time inside the forest, your journey continues towards Midelt along the beautiful foothills and the Atlas Mountains, after the town of Midelt you will cross the fascinating Tizi N’talghamt pass and the gorges from Ziz, enjoying the view of the High Atlas plateau, you will notice how the landscape changes to reveal hints of the desert as you approach the town of Errachidia, here you will have lunch and enjoy Berber hospitality. Day 9: Desert of Merzouga – Nomadic families – Oasis of Tisardmin – Khamlia – Erg Chebbi.

It’s a full day in the desert. “Rendezvous with the sunrise” If you are in the middle of the desert, it is worth getting up early to watch the most spectacular sunrise you have ever seen on top of a dune near the camp and enjoy this landscape which is a gift of nature. After sunrise, we return to Merzouga by camel, where a hearty breakfast awaits us. Then we will follow Erg Chebbi, a large expanse of sandy desert where the Great Dune of Morocco is located. which is more than 250 meters high. We then continue along the road that once served for the “Paris – Dakar” and ends in the mountains that border the Agelia. Day 1: Casablanca – Fes

3 Days Marrakech to Fes desert tour itinerary:

 

Day 1: Marrakech – Dades-Gorge
Departure from your hotel or riad at 08:30. to Kasbah AiT Ben Hadou via the Tizi Ntichka pass and the High Atlas mountains. Many stops will be made along the way. Visit Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, which has also served as the setting for several Hollywood blockbusters. We continue to Ouarzazate and visit Kasbah Taourirte before lunch (available). In the afternoon, we will drive towards Boumalne Dadès through the Valley of Roses before arriving at our guesthouse located in the Dadès Valley.

 

Day 2: Dades-Gorge – Todra Gorges – Merzoua.
After breakfast, today’s trip will begin on the road of 1001 Kasbahs to the oasis of Tinghir. You will enjoy the amazing scenery along the way from the remaining fortified villages that housed the caravan routes until the early 20th century. Arrived at Tinghir, which was a military post during the French occupation, we will branch off along a secondary road towards the oasis. Feel free to take a walk along the creek and watch the locals tending and tending their livestock. Your walk will end in one of the magnificent scenes of your tour – Todgha Gorge. We arrive in Fez at the end of the afternoon.

DAY 1: Fes – Ilfrane – Azrou – Midelt – Arfoud – Merzouga:

After breakfast, we will leave for Merzouga through the Middle Atlas region. We will cross Ifrane, the “Switzerland” of Morocco, and the cedar forests of Azrou where we can stop to feed the monkeys. We will continue to Midelt where we will have lunch. We will then follow the Ziz Valley, through the valley, and stop to see the Ziz Gorge on our way to Merzouga.

5 days Desert tour from Fes to Marrakech itinerary:

 

Day 1 : Fes – Ilfrane – Azrou – Midelt – Merzouga
After breakfast, we will depart for Merzouga through the Middle Atlas region. We will drive through Ifrane, the ‘Switzerland’ of Morocco, and the cedar forests of Azrou where we can stop to hand feed the monkeys. We will continue to Midelt where we will have lunch. We will then follow the Ziz River through the valley and stop to see the Ziz Gorges on our way to Merzouga.

 

Day 2 : Merzouga – Khamlia – Rissani – Erg Chebbi
Today we will explore the desert region and the marvel that is the Erg Chebbi desert dunes. We will make a circuit of the desert dunes where you will have the opportunity to see the nomad’s way of life and the amazing changing contrasts of the desert. We will visit the black village of Khamlia to see the Gnawa musicians. We will have a traditional Berber pizza for lunch in the ancient capital of Rissani. In the afternoon we will ride the camels to see the sunset over the dunes and spend the night in the desert camp. We will have a traditional tagine dinner, drink delicious mint tea, and listen to traditional Berber music while watching the stars and the rising moon in the amazing Sahara desert.

 

Day 3: Merzouga – Todra Gorges – Dades Gorges
We will wake up early to see the spectacular sunrise over the dunes before making our way back to the hotel for breakfast and a shower. We will cross the palm-lined valleys of Tourog and Tinjdad to arrive at Todra Gorge. We will take a walk in the Todra Gorges and have lunch in a local restaurant before continuing to our accommodation in the Dades Gorge.

 

Day 4 : Dades Gorge – El Kelaa Magona – Skoura – Ouarzazate
After breakfast, we will take a walk in the gorge and then take the off-road track to see the nomad caves. We will continue via El Kelaa Magona, Valley of the Roses, and the Skoura oasis to arrive at Ouarzazate.

 

Day 5: Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Telouet – Marrakech
After breakfast, we will visit Taourirt Kasbah before departing to Ait Benhaddou to visit the World Heritage Site. We will continue with a visit to the traditional High Atlas Berber village of Telouet and the Kasbah el Glaoui. We will have lunch in a local restaurant in Telouet before descending the Tizi-n Tichka to Marrakech.

Day 1: Arrival in Tangier

Day 2: Tangier – Chefchaouen
Depart from Tangier and journey towards Chefchaouen, often referred to as the “Blue Pearl” of Morocco. Nestled amidst the Rif Mountains, Chefchaouen is renowned for its stunning blue and white buildings. Explore the charming medina, wander through its narrow streets, and soak in the relaxed ambiance of this picturesque town. 2 hours Drive to Chefchaouen.

 

Day 3: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fes

Following breakfast, we depart from Dades Valley, journeying through the scenic Roses Valley and exploring the palm grove of Skoura. Our route then takes us back to Marrakesh, concluding our expedition in the lively red city of Marrakech with a transfer to your accommodation.

 

Day 8: Marrakech Sightseeing
After breakfast, a local tour guide will pick you up from your hotel or Riad and take you to explore Marrakech’s most amazing places, including the Bahia Palace and the Koutoubia Mosque. After the visit, your driver will take you to see the Majorelle Garden and the Yves Saint Laurent Museum. DAY 1: Fez – Ifrane – Azrou – Midalt – Ziz Valley – Arfoud – Merzouga Camel trekk.
We will pick you up from your hotel/riad and leave Fes for Ifran, a beautiful mountain town, known as “the Switzerland of Morocco”, then on to Midelt. During this trip, you will get a glimpse of the Middle Atlas and High Atlas mountains. With a stop at Azrou, a Berber village in the middle of the famous cedar forest, the largest in Morocco, where it is possible to see Barbary apes. After some time inside the forest, your journey continues towards Midelt along the beautiful foothills and the Atlas Mountains, after the town of Midelt you will cross the fascinating Tizi N’talghamt pass and the gorges from Ziz, enjoying the view of the High Atlas plateau, you will notice how the landscape changes to reveal hints of the desert as you approach the town of Errachidia, here you will have lunch and enjoy Berber hospitality. You will then travel along the lush Ziz Valley, stopping for panoramic views along the way to Erfoud and Rissani. Arrival in Merzouga in the afternoon. You will be welcomed with a glass of mint tea before riding a camel, guided by an experienced camel driver to explore the golden sand sea of Merzouga. Dinner in front of the tent where you will spend the night.

 

DAY 2: Desert of Merzouga – Nomadic families – Oasis of Tisardmin – Khamlia – Erg Chebbi.

It’s a full day in the desert. “Rendezvous with the sunrise” If you are in the middle of the desert, it is worth getting up early to watch the most spectacular sunrise you have ever seen on top of a dune near the camp and enjoy this landscape which is a gift of nature. After sunrise, we return to Merzouga by camel, where a hearty breakfast awaits us. Then we will follow Erg Chebbi, a large expanse of sandy desert where the Great Dune of Morocco is located. which is more than 250 meters high. We then continue along the road that once served for the “Paris – Dakar” and ends in the mountains that border the Agelia. Stop at the oasis of Tissardmin where we can find fossil quarries still present in the area, then we continue along a road where we can see nomadic settlements and learn about their secrets and customs. The next stop will be at a viewpoint to contemplate the Erg Chebbi hole. We will then arrive at the village of Kamilia, originally from Mali, where we will have a relaxing cup of tea while listening to a concert of Gnawa spiritual music. Transfer to your accommodation and free afternoon to enjoy the city or the dunes next to the hotel to watch the sunset. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

 

DAY 3: Merzouga – Rissani – Tinjdad – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley.
We will get up early to watch the magical sunrise from the dunes. After having a delicious Berber breakfast, you will return by camel to Merzouga and prepare to leave by car for Tinghir to see the Todra Gorges. Along the way, we will stop at Rissani to visit the mausoleum of Moulay Ali Cherif. We will then cross many small Berber villages, such as Jorf, known for its palm trees, Mellaab, and Tinjdad. We will continue our drive to Dades Gorges, passing by a fabulous view made of mountains in the shape of monkey fingers and seeing the panoramic view on the road to Dades Gorges. Then we will finally arrive at the Dades Valley where we will have dinner and spend the night in a riad/hotel.

 

DAY 3: Dades Gorges – Ouarzazate – Marrakech.
After breakfast, we will pass the Rosse Valley towards Dades Mgouna and Ouarzazate. The road through the Dades Valley is a kilometer and a half from the Kasbahs, providing plenty of opportunities to take some of the best photos of the trip. We will stay in Kalaat Mgouna, the city of roses, to buy rose water, which will keep your clothes smelling good after the trip is over. Your trip to Marrakech will continue through the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, the largest Kasbah in Morocco. The Kasbah was built by Ham El Glaoui, one of the closest Berber generals of the 18th century, and is now home to many Glaouis. Your route will pass by the magnificent Tizi ntichka (2,260m) above the Atlas Mountains before arriving at your accommodation in Marrakech.
