DAY 1: Fes – Ilfrane – Azrou – Midelt – Arfoud – Merzouga:
After breakfast, we will leave for Merzouga through the Middle Atlas region. We will cross Ifrane, the “Switzerland” of Morocco, and the cedar forests of Azrou where we can stop to feed the monkeys. We will continue to Midelt where we will have lunch. We will then follow the Ziz Valley, through the valley, and stop to see the Ziz Gorge on our way to Merzouga.

 

DAY 2: Merzouga – Khamlia – Rissani – Camel ride – Erg Chebbi:
Today we will explore the desert region and the wonder that is the Erg Chebbi desert dunes. We will take a trip to the desert dunes of the desert where you will have the opportunity to see the way of life of the nomads and the incredible changing contrasts of the desert. We will visit the (black town) of Khamlia to see the Gnawa musical. We will have a traditional Berber pizza for lunch in the ancient capital of The Rissani Towen. In the afternoon, we will ride a camel to see the sunset over the dunes and spend the night in the desert camp. We will have a traditional tajine dinner, we will drink Berber whiskey, it is normal (mint tea), and we will listen to traditional Berber music while we watch the stars and the crescent moon in the incredible Sahara desert.

 

DAY 3: Merzouga – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley – Dades Gorges:
We’ll get up early to see the spectacular sunrise over the dunes before returning to the hotel for breakfast and a shower. We will cross the palm-fringed valleys of Tourog and Tinjdad to reach the Todra Gorge. We will take a walk through the Todra Gorges and have lunch in a local restaurant before continuing to our accommodation in the Dades Gorges.

 

DAY 4: Dades Gorges – Boutaghrar – El Kelaa Magona – Skoura – Ouarzazate:
After breakfast, we will take a walk through the gorges and then take the off-road track to see the nomadic caves. Located in the valley of roses that owes its name to the presence of magnificent rosebushes, the village of Boutaghrar will surprise you with its ocher and sandy landscapes. We will then continue through El Kelaa Magona, the Valley of Roses, and the oasis of Skoura to arrive. in Ouarzazate.

 

DAY 5: Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Telouet – Marrakech:
After breakfast, we will visit the Kasbah of Taourirt before leaving for Ait Ben Haddou to visit the World Heritage Site. We will continue with a visit to the traditional High Atlas Berber village of Telouet and the Kasbah of el Glaoui. We will have lunch at a local restaurant in Telouet before descending the Tizi-n-Tichka to Marrakech.
